The GPO Lucknow organised a prestigious Quiz Contest in school on 27th September. The event was judged and witnessed by three SSPs (Senior Superintendent of Police) and some GPO officials. The quiz was preceded by useful and interesting information given by the officials about Indian stamps, the post office system, Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav and their schemes.
Four teams took part in the quiz which had one member from classes 8 and 9 each. There were four rounds in the quiz, concerning philately, current affairs, and general awareness. After a cutting edge competition, Team A (Sarthak Misra of class 9 and Abhyudaya Singh of class 8) bagged the First position, followed by Team B (Devansh Singh of class 9 and Maaz Ahmed of class 8) in Second place.
They were awarded with prestigious stamp collections, and it was an enriching experience for the quizzers and the students who attended the event.
