It was a joyous day at Seth M. R. Jaipuria School as parents and the School community gathered to cheer and celebrate its youngest stars. On the morning of 23 September 2026, the JIM auditorium was lit up with the smiles of beaming parents as they proudly watched their little ones from Nursery (A and B Sections) and LKG (A and B Sections) dazzle the stage with their courage, confidence, and creativity. The theme that dominated the day’s performances was ‘Community Collaboration’, the School’s raison d’être, as recognised by T4 Education among its Top 10 Best School Prizes under the ‘Community Collaboration’ category.
Nursery (Sections A and B)
The Nursery children delighted the audience with their Orchestra and dance performances as they cheerfully participated with their boundless enthusiasm and charm. The performative component from the Nursery repertoire also included an adorable presentation entitled ‘Aao Krishna Ko Phone Lagain’, a concept that spontaneously evoked a warm sense of appreciation from the audience. Representing the thematic concept of the day, they also presented on ‘Community Helpers—Heroes Around Us’. Some of the heroes that they represented included a farmer, a gardener, a doctor, a policeman, a soldier, and a firefighter. Towards the end, all the children came together and danced to the song ‘Count on Me’, as they remembered with gratitude the selfless service and dedication of the community helpers who make the world a better place to live in.
LKG (Sections A and B)
The LKG children beautifully complemented their younger counterparts with their natural flair for performance and participation. The rich line-up of performances included several skits: one on ‘The Rainbow That Disappeared’, another on the harvest festivals of India, yet another on ‘Prithvi Mitra’, and last but not least, a skit that celebrated the enduring friendship between Krishna and Sudama. The LKG students also delivered a memorable performance on Nav Durga, in which they gracefully dressed up as the nine manifestations of Goddess Durga, introduced each of the Divine forms and danced elegantly to the ‘Aigiri Nandini’ stotram. The children also presented an evocative Hindi poem on Lord Krishna composed by Ms. Anjali Jaipuria, Vice-Chairperson, Integral Education Society.
Parent Collaboration
Both Nursery and LKG children did segments on parent collaboration, with one heartwarming collaboration involving a grandparent, demonstrating the School’s unwavering commitment to fostering an environment for community collaboration to flourish and thrive. This section not only provided a wonderful platform to nurture and strengthen a deep and loving bond between parents and children, but it also proved to be an occasion to have meaningful discussions about mindful and sustainable living practices. In her message to the parents, the Principal, Ms. Promini Chopra emphasised the importance of parents spending time with their children to nurture the emotional bond between them. The event concluded following a warm interactive session with the parents, where they shared their appreciation for the School’s positive role in the growth of their children.
