Celebrating Excellence, Purpose and Community: ISC Felicitation 2025–26

Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Gomti Nagar, celebrated the achievements of its ISC Batch of 2025-26 at a felicitation ceremony held in the JIM Auditorium on Monday. The programme brought together students, parents, teachers and school leaders to recognise exceptional academic performance and the values that shaped the graduating batch.
The ceremony opened with National Song sung in unison, followed by Jaipuria Anthem. A two-minute silence was observed in gratitude before the formal proceedings began.
The traditional lamp-lighting ceremony was led by Vice Chairperson of the Integral Education Society, Mrs Anjali Jaipuria, Principal Mrs Promini Chopra, Principal of Navsrijan Mrs Asha Chadha, Prof. Vinod Solanki and senior members of the school leadership team.
Addressing the gathering, Mrs Anjali Jaipuria, Vice Chairperson urged students to remain connected to their inner strengths as they embark on a new phase of life.
“The richest thing that you will ever find in your life is already inside you. Through every period of silence and every moment of reflection, the school has tried to help you discover that joy and strength within yourself.”
Describing the occasion as both a celebration and a farewell, Mrs Jaipuria congratulated the graduating batch on their achievements.
“This is not simply a celebration of marks. It is a farewell wrapped in flowers. These results have made every one of us in this hall a little taller today.”
The Alpana Goel Award for Excellence in Geography was presented to Sarthak Misra in recognition of his exceptional performance in the subject. Instituted in memory of the late Ms Alpana Goel, former Head of the Geography Department, the award honours students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and dedication to the discipline. Sarthak secured a perfect score of 100 in Geography in the ISC examination, earning this prestigious recognition.
During an interactive session, students and parents were asked whether Jaipuria’s contribution and impact received adequate recognition at the national and international level. Participants highlighted the school’s strong alumni network, academic excellence, value-based education and the confidence it instils in its students.
Students were felicitated in multiple score brackets, beginning with those who secured between 89 and 92.75 per cent in the ISC examinations. The recognition continued throughout the day, covering achievers across all performance categories.
Principal Mrs Promini Chopra congratulated the graduating batch and spoke about the importance of sincerity, resilience and continuous learning.
Principal Mrs Promini Chopra urged students to approach the next phase of life with awareness, self-discipline and a commitment to continuous growth. Emphasising the school’s philosophy of Conscious Transformation, she encouraged them to rely on their own judgement and inner strength while navigating new opportunities and challenges.
“Life is a journey of becoming. Every individual has a room for improvement, and it is consciousness that helps us make that room richer and fuller. As you step into college and beyond, be mindful of your thoughts, because they shape your choices, your growth and ultimately your joy,” she said.
During her address, Mrs Chopra also interacted with students, asking them what had brought them joy during their years at Jaipuria. Responding to her question, Arushi Kapoor spoke about the warm and supportive relationships she shared with teachers, describing the school as an extended family where students could freely seek guidance and support.
Abhijeet Kumar Singh credited the school’s sporting culture for some of his happiest memories, while Vice Head Boy Yuvraj Gupta reflected on the friendships, mentorship, stage opportunities and extracurricular experiences that had shaped his journey and contributed to his personal growth.
An interactive session with parents, conducted by Mrs Jaya Joshi, offered an opportunity for families to share their experiences and reflections on their children’s academic journey.
Students securing between 93 and 96.25 per cent were honoured in the next phase of the ceremony. Academic Coordinator Dr Rashmi Singh later addressed the gathering and encouraged students to pursue excellence with humility and purpose.
Dr Rashmi Singh, Academic Coordinator, Senior School, congratulated the students on their exceptional performance and highlighted the school’s strong academic results. She noted that Jaipuria students had surpassed the national averages across all ISC subjects, reflecting their dedication, the guidance of teachers and the support of parents.
Students Apoorv Dixit and Devyani Maheshwari entertained the audience with renditions of Besabriyaan and Ilahi, adding a musical interlude to the programme before the felicitation resumed.
During an interactive session with parents, Mrs Jaya Joshi invited families to reflect on the role the school had played in shaping their children’s journey beyond academics.Sharing her experience, the parent of Samriddhi Shukla highlighted the impact of the school’s holistic approach on her daughter’s growth. “I have seen a conscious transformation in Samriddhi—from a shy and sensitive girl to a confident, compassionate and empathetic individual. The focus on healing, spirituality and self-awareness has played a significant role in her development,” she remarked.
The second half of the programme recognised students across score ranges from 77.75 to 88.75 per cent.
The school also presented the Mother’s Certificate for Conscious Transformation to students who displayed excellence beyond academics. Awards were presented in areas including Languages, Hindi, Dramatics and Oration, Performing Arts, Karate, Academics, and Disposition and Demeanour.
Subject toppers were honoured for their outstanding performance in individual disciplines. Several students achieved perfect scores in subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, History, Geography, Computer Science, Political Science, Physical Education and Legal Studies.

Among the notable achievers, Tarini Dewan scored 100 in English, Sonam Modi topped Hindi with 99 marks, while Akshita Agarwal secured perfect scores in Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science. Students including Sarthak Misra, Shivika Singh, Anushka Srivastava and others earned perfect scores in Humanities subjects, reflecting the strong academic standards maintained by the school.
The ceremony culminated with the felicitation of students who scored between 98 and 99.25 per cent. Twelve students were recognised in this category for their exceptional performance.
The highest honour of the day was accorded to Akshita Agarwal, who emerged as the school topper with an outstanding score of 99.75 per cent and secured All India Rank 2 in the ISC examinations. Accompanied by her parents, she received a standing ovation from the audience.
Dr Anupam Vidyarthi, Vice Principal (Administration) delivered the acknowledgement address, expressing gratitude to parents, teachers, support staff and the school community for their contribution to the success of the graduating batch.
The programme concluded with the National Anthem.
