The Junior School English Recitation Competition for grades I to IV was held from 20th July 2024 to 24th July 2024, with enthusiastic participation from students representing every section and all four Houses. The competition revolved around the theme ‘Progress’, inspiring students to reflect on how small, consistent steps lead to meaningful growth, and how conscious efforts, guided by one’s inner self, pave the way to success.
Each presentation was delivered by a team of three students—one recited the poem with confidence and expression, another brought it to life through expressive enactment, while the third illustrated its essence through creative artwork. This unique format beautifully integrated poetry, drama, and visual art, making every performance engaging and impactful.
The participants displayed remarkable confidence, creativity, teamwork, and stage presence. Their expressive recitations and thoughtful interpretations reflected not only their linguistic proficiency but also their deep understanding of the theme. The students approached the competition with immense zeal, bringing forth their artistic talents with confidence and grace.
The audience remained spellbound throughout the event, appreciating the originality, depth of thought, and captivating performances presented by the young learners. The competition was a wonderful celebration of language, imagination, collaboration, and conscious transformation, inspiring students to embrace continuous progress through perseverance and self-awareness.
