Harmonizing Excellence: Felicitation Ceremony – ISC Batch 2024–25

On 7 May 2025, the JIM Auditorium rang with applause and pride as Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Gomti Nagar, celebrated the outstanding achievements of its ISC Batch 2024–25. Against a backdrop of gleaming smiles and proud families, the school’s integral-education philosophy shone through every moment of the felicitation ceremony.

In this year’s ISC batch, 103 students scored above 90%, including 46 who achieved an outstanding 95% or higher, while the school’s overall average stood at 86.75%. Leading the results was Saransh Mishra with 99%, closely followed by Dhrati Tiwari at 98.75% and Mahirah Naeem at 98.5%. Across every subject, Jaipuria students outperformed the national averages by a significant margin.

At Jaipuria, we focus on the integral development of every child—nurturing their physical, vital, mental, and psychic dimensions. Our aim is not just to educate, but to help each student discover who they truly are and what they are meant to become. That’s why our learners immerse themselves in a wide range of activities—sports, cultural programmes, leadership roles, and more—alongside their academic pursuits. These experiences prepare them to become complete individuals.

We believe true growth happens when academics and co-curriculars go hand in hand. Our students not only participate actively in various events, but also consistently score high marks—proving that excellence in one area need not come at the cost of another. This balance is a deliberate, thoughtfully guided process, and the results speak for themselves. At Jaipuria, we are proud to offer an education that is truly integral, where every child is given the space to grow, the support to explore, and the encouragement to thrive.

The event commenced with our Principal, Mrs Promini Chopra, and our chief guest, Prof Vinod Solanki (Retd HOD of English, Deen Dayal Upadhyay University, Gorakhpur), alongside the school heads, invoking tradition through a lamp-lighting ceremony. This was followed by a soul-stirring Ganesh Vandana performed by our talented students. In her welcome address, Mrs Chopra reminded everyone that in our quest for the future, we must never lose the spontaneous joy of life.

Two signature awards set the tone for academic brilliance: the Alpana Goel Award for Excellence in Geography went to Aadya Mishra for her outstanding 98 percent in Geography, and the Parul Mishra Award for Excellence in Biotechnology was presented to Mahirah Naeem, who also scored 98 percent in Biotechnology. A melodious interlude of “Mera Aap Ki Kripa Se Sab Kaam Ho Raha Hai,” sung by Devishi Verma, celebrated the school’s thriving cultural life.

Mr Vinay Pandey, Senior School Headmaster, then took the podium to congratulate the students and proudly announced their impressive ISC and ICSE results, noting that our learners had outperformed the national averages in every subject. Our chief guest, Prof Solanki, praised the school’s integral-education approach—particularly its Geeta classes and meditation practices—which empower students to embark on a path of conscious transformation.

The heart of the ceremony lay in the tiered felicitations. First, Prof Solanki and Mrs Chopra honoured twenty students who achieved between 90 percent and 92 percent. After Prof Solanki’s brief address on the value of lifelong curiosity, Dr Anupam Vidyarthi and Mrs Deepa Wahi presented citations to twenty-one students scoring between 92.25 percent and 93.75 percent, followed by a warm discussion with their parents. Finally, Mr Vinay Pandey and Dr Rashmi Singh felicitated sixteen students whose marks ranged from 94 percent to 94.75 percent.

Next, alumnus Mr Bharat Dutt Tiwari—who secured 98th rank in the UPSC examination—inspired the students with his reflections. He urged them not to let societal pressures dictate their life choices, sharing:
“I cleared the UPSC in my fourth attempt. I was clear about my goal, and for four years I worked at my full potential.”

During the interactive session, he answered questions about returning to his alma mater—“There was a sense of nostalgia that is hard to put into words”—and on whether clearing the UPSC was his ikigai:
“Yes, at this moment in my life you could say it is my ikigai, but I don’t believe a person has only one ikigai. For example, if you ask my mother, she wouldn’t say academics—it would be her happiness. Ikigai changes over time, and that’s how life works.”

He further added, “I owe all my success to my mother—her sacrifices and steadfast love shaped me into who I am today, and her strength continues to inspire me every day.”

When asked what motivated him to sit for the UPSC, he revealed,
“I lost my dad, and that was a turning point in my life. This moment in my life motivated me to prepare for the Civil Services.”

Following this, fourteen students who scored between 95 percent and 95.75 percent were felicitated by Dr Vidyarthi and Mrs Wahi. Jaya Joshi Ma’am then interacted with the students’ parents. One parent reflected on their fourteen-year journey with Jaipuria:
“Over the years, my child has blossomed like a tree given the right care. Thanks to the teachers at Jaipuria, she grew into the best version of herself—an honest, compassionate individual—because they provided the nurturing environment and excellence in learning she needed.”

Subject toppers then received their medals from the respective Heads of Department, marking individual excellence across the syllabus. Special awards recognised achievements in sports, arts, and other co-curricular activities, underscoring the diversity of student talents. In a climactic moment, thirty-two students scoring between 96 percent and 99 percent were honoured by Prof Solanki and Mrs Chopra, with Saransh Mishra crowned this year’s batch topper.

The evening concluded with the National Anthem, bringing the ceremony to a close.
