January 22, 2024, marked a moment of historical and spiritual significance as the sacred Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lala was performed at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. This year, our school celebrated the first anniversary of this divine occasion with unmatched devotion and grandeur in our assembly area.
The celebration was a heartfelt homage to Ram Lala and an expression of our collective faith. The event commenced with our Principal, Mrs. Promini Chopra, leading the pooja, setting the tone for a deeply spiritual and united gathering. Teachers, students, and staff were applied a tilak on their foreheads, symbolising blessings and sanctity.
The soulful recitation of the Sundar Kand followed, narrating the selfless devotion and courage of Lord Hanuman in serving Ram Lala. The rhythmic chants filled the atmosphere with spirituality and serenity, creating an unshakeable connection to the divine. Adding to the devotion, teachers and students united to sing the Hanuman Chalisa, their voices echoing with reverence. The stirring melody of the Chalisa was followed by several heartfelt bhajans dedicated to Lord Ram and Lord Hanuman, each note carrying waves of emotion and devotion.
The celebration reached its pinnacle with an aarti performed collectively by everyone present. The flickering flames of the aarti plates, accompanied by the synchronised claps and chants, created a mesmerising aura of faith and unity. The ceremony concluded with the distribution of prasad, spreading sweetness and blessings among all attendees.
This grand occasion embodied the eternal values that Ram Lala instills in us: truth, humility, courage, and unwavering faith. It served as a profound reminder of our nation’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage, inspiring us to lead lives anchored in these virtues.
The celebration brought together students, teachers, and staff in a harmonious embrace of devotion and unity. The 1st anniversary of Ram Lala’s Pran Pratishtha was far more than a mere event—it was a soulful journey of faith, an unforgettable memory etched in our hearts, and a beacon guiding us to walk the path of righteousness with renewed determination and grace.
