Nurturing Consciousness, Celebrating Excellence: Seth M.R. Jaipuria Marks Its 32nd Founders’ Day
Our school’s annual Founders’ Day celebration is a sacred tradition that unites our entire community in a spirit of love, gratitude, and joy. This year’s festivities, spread over three unforgettable days, were a resplendent celebration of our school’s values: unity, excellence, and compassion.
As we gathered together, we were reminded that our journey is not just about achieving excellence but about recognizing the divine presence that guides and supports us every step of the way.
While the world may settle for ‘good, better, best,’ we at Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, a School of Conscious Transformation, believes in something bigger – ‘good, better, divine.’ We believe the blessings of the divine are our guiding force.
The celebration commenced on 21st November. We were deeply humbled and honored to be graced by the presence of our esteemed chief guest, Shri Sudhanshu Trivedi Ji, a national spokesperson for the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Reflecting on our Senior Founders’ Day celebration, the children took to the stage, showcasing their incredible talents in a series of performances that left us all spellbound. From the sublime love of Meera for Krishna in the form of a dance to the journey of Tulsidas depicted in a play, every performance was a testament to the children’s deep connection with the divine. The audience was visibly moved, with many in tears as they witnessed the children’s heartfelt portrayals.
The Shadow Play and Mime Show were equally mesmerizing, leaving the audience in awe of the children’s creativity and skill. One parent remarked, “This is something you’d only expect to see on television!” It was as if we were witnessing a dream unfold before our eyes.
The crowning glory was our grand finale performance, Nav Durga. The children came together to showcase all nine forms of the goddess in eight classical dance forms. It was a truly transcendental experience, leaving everyone in the audience with goosebumps that lingered for days.
The children’s performances touched our hearts in a way that few things can. We were reminded of the importance of faith, tradition, and community. As we look to the future, we know our children will carry these values with them, inspiring others with their talent, creativity, and devotion.

The second day of our Founders’ Day celebration was a vibrant explosion of creativity and talent. Every corner of the school was transformed into a celebration of innovation and imagination. The exhibition was a treasure trove of wonders, with each department showcasing its unique brilliance.
As we entered from the foyer area, we were transported to a galaxy of wonders. The planetarium, lovingly created by our students, was a marvel in itself. This space-themed extravaganza featured a meticulously crafted land of Mars, complete with various satellites, UFOs, and even aliens! The pièce de résistance was the massive planetarium dome with a screen inside, equipped with a projector that screened a plethora of educational and visually stunning videos.
As parents wandered through the school, they were treated to a kaleidoscope of live performances – from nukkad nataks to plays, dances, games, and poems. Every corner of the school was alive with celebration, each a unique and vibrant expression of our children’s creativity. The rock band was a magnet for music lovers, their energetic performance drawing enthusiastic crowds of children.
The art department was a treasure trove of beauty, displaying stunning pictures and paintings created by our talented students. What truly made the day unforgettable were the live performances scattered around the school. Children dressed in elaborate costumes approached attendees, inviting them to watch their shows in character. It was impossible to resist the charms of Basanti or an alien inviting you to enjoy their performance in their special language. Nobody could say no to those sparkling eyes and infectious enthusiasm!
The departmental exhibitions were equally impressive. From science and mathematics to art and geopolitics, each display was a testament to the children’s boundless creativity and curiosity. Parents marveled at the incredible projects, asking questions and engaging in lively discussions with their children.
What touched our hearts most was the level of parental involvement, motivating and inspiring our children to push beyond their boundaries. The joy and pride on their faces were palpable, making it clear this was a moment they would treasure forever.
The entire school was abuzz with excitement, offering something for everyone. One of the highlights was the colorful setup of storytelling and a puppet show organized by our pre-primary teachers for the first time. The little ones were enthralled as their teachers brought stories to life with colorful puppets and engaging science experiments.
But what stole the show was the gigantic book created by the teachers. Beginning with the simple yet magical phrase, “Once upon a time…,” every child was invited to add their own line to the story, weaving a tale that was both unique and meaningful. Watching the children’s faces light up as they contributed to the story was truly heartwarming.
A parent shared a heartfelt observation that summed up the event’s impact: “Now I understand why my child comes home every day asking for stories,” she said. “It’s because of the way the teachers relate the stories to the children in school. They make it so engaging and fun!”
In that moment, we knew we had created something special – a space where children, parents, and teachers came together to experience the joy of learning.
