The 19th Udbhav Utsav 2024, a grand dance competition celebrating Indian culture, brought together 38 teams from across India and around the world, offering a vibrant platform to showcase talent in folk, classical, and semi-classical dance. This year, the event saw participation from India as well as international groups from the Netherlands, Armenia, Sri Lanka, and Bulgaria and more.
For the past seven years, Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Vineet Khand, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, has proudly taken part in this cultural odyssey, consistently earning accolades.
This year, under the insightful guidance and inspiring mentorship of Ms. Deepali Tripathi, and accompanied by dance teacher Ms. Richa Tiwari, a team of 12 talented students from classes 6 to 11, who dedicated three months of rigorous preparation, travelled to Gwalior to compete in this prestigious five-day event.
Our students delivered an enchanting performance, themed Meera Ka Prem in the semi-classical category. Competing in two challenging rounds against several teams our dancers exhibited unparalleled artistry and passion. Their hard work and commitment led them to secure the 2nd place trophy, adding another proud achievement to our school’s legacy at Udbhav Utsav.

Our team also had the honour of performing at a special Gala Night, where their talent and grace were met with enthusiastic applause.
