Techvista 2024 | Jaipuria Fest

On the 21st of August 2024, the first day of Jaipuria Fest saw Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Vineet Khand, Gomti Nagar transformed into a haven for technophiles. With 25 schools and 500 students participating, the event featured an array of exciting competitions.
Techvista is a dynamic and highly anticipated event, in which students explore the realms of technology through various fun mediums. This year, students delved into the fascinating realm of Artificial Intelligence, exploring its immense potential to revolutionize various aspects of life while also acknowledging the inherent risks and challenges it poses if not harnessed with caution and responsibility. Engaging in a series of insightful debates and discussions, the participants demonstrated a profound understanding of the theme.
Principal Mrs. Promini Chopra emphasized in her speech the importance of breaking free from societal molds and pushing beyond conventional boundaries. She urged everyone to seize the opportunity to learn and grow from each event they participate in, encouraging them to expand their creativity. She also highlighted that these events are designed to instill essential values such as Responsibility, Leadership, and Collaboration.
This year, GAMECON attracted fierce participation with its gaming challenges, while Director’s Cut showcased creative video editing skills using movie clips. CODE RUSH pushed participants to develop practical digital tools, and Reason Treason brought the excitement of solving puzzles in a multiverse scenario. Weave-a-Web displayed remarkable web development talent, and Metamorphosis amazed with stunning Photoshop transformations. The Bitzkrieg quiz tested tech knowledge, while Teaser Thrive introduced innovative storytelling through teasers. Trademark celebrated logo design and Audio Atelier explored the creative fusion of music and technology. The event was a celebration of creativity, technology, and the spirit of competition, with esteemed judges from various fields enhancing its prestige.
Techvista boasted an esteemed panel of judges, comprising industry experts and thought leaders. Mrs. Lali Priya, Program Leader and Ph.D. candidate in Fashion Management, lent her vast expertise in fashion retail and management to the panel. Ms. Astha Pathak, Associate Professor at Lucknow University, Creative Supervisor and Copywriter, and Aarav Baluja, Law Graduate from Symbiosis Law School, brought their analytical acumen and critical thinking skills to the table. Mr. Rinku Raheja, Assistant Professor of Computer Science at National P.G. College, contributed his technical proficiency to the judging process. Additionally, Ms. Sonakshi Lele, Freelance Graphic Designer and Mr. Prateek Mehra, Radio Jockey with Radio Mirchi, provided valuable insights and expertise during the judging process.
Mr. Rajat Mishra, Lead Engineer at HCL, judged the Code Rush event, engaging students with an extensive Q&A session that tested their coding skills and knowledge. His in-depth questioning encouraged participants to think critically and showcase their problem-solving abilities.
Chief Guest of the evening, Dr. Puneet Misra, Head of the Department of Computer Science at Lucknow University blessed us with his presence. He addressed the students with his encouraging words, he added, “I am happy to see students coding and doing various advanced use of technology at this event. Just like that students must use technology for a greater positive purpose. Instead of watching online content, they should learn skills like coding which can help them in their career.”
Although our school secured the first prize, we chose not to claim it. Consequently, the first prize was awarded to CMS Kanpur Road Branch.
