A sensitisation workshop was conducted by the District Officer for Vector Borne Diseases, Lucknow, Dr. Ritu Srivastava for students of Middle School on 25th April, World Malaria Day.
The aim of this NVBDCP workshop organised under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer, Lucknow, was to improve the existing knowledge and expand awareness of practices regarding mosquito-borne diseases and its control in the community.
Students were made aware of common vector borne diseases, their causes and symptoms. Preventative measures for such diseases were shared and all queries were answered by Dr. Srivastava in this highly informative session, who delivered important health education messages to them.
