ICSE Felicitation Ceremony – Batch 2024–25 | Honouring 154 High-Achievers with 90% and above scores

By the grace of the Divine, Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, hosted a special event to honour the ICSE 2025 batch school toppers.

This year, 154 students scored above 90 percent in the examinations, with Soham Anand leading the cohort at 99.6 percent, followed by Kavish Dua at 99.4 percent and Kusuka Singh at 99 percent. The school’s overall average stood at an impressive 89.22 percent. In addition to overall toppers, the event also celebrated subject-specific achievers—150 Jaipuria students scored a flawless 100 in their respective subjects.

The ceremony was graced by distinguished guests who felicitated the students: Mrs. Anjali Jaipuria, Vice Chairperson of the Integral Education Society; Prof. Sampadananda Mishra, Dean of Culture and Director of the Centre for Human Sciences at Rishihood University, Haryana; Prof. Vinod Solanki, retired Head of the Department of English at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya University, Gorakhpur; and our Principal, Mrs. Promini Chopra.

The event opened with the sacred lamp-lighting ceremony, accompanied by the national song echoing through the hall. This was followed by a graceful Ganesh Vandana dance performance by the students.

Two prestigious awards marked the start of the ceremony. The Alpana Goel Award for Excellence in Geography was presented to Asmita Rai, who scored 100% in Geography in the ICSE Examination, while the Parul Mishra Award for Excellence in Biology was awarded to Maaz Ahmad, who scored 100% in Biology.

Later in the ceremony, Dr. Sampadananda Mishra, accompanied by Mrs. Anjali Jaipuria, Mrs. Promini Chopra and Prof. Vinod Solanki felicitated 24 students who scored between 90% and 91.6%.

This was followed by Dr. Anupam Vidyarthi and Mrs. Deepa Wahi, who honoured another 24 achievers in the 91.8% to 93.2% bracket. Then, Mrs. Asha Chaddha and Mr. Vinay Pandey awarded 25 students whose scores ranged from 93.6% to 94.4%.

After that, Dr. Vidyarthi and Mrs. Deepa Wahi felicitated 24 students in the 94.6% to 95.6% range, which was followed by an engaging interaction with parents.

The event went beyond medals and certificates—it also offered parents a platform to share their experiences. During the session, parents expressed their gratitude to the teachers and administration for their unwavering support. When asked how her child had transformed at Jaipuria, the mother of Priyanshi (who scored 98.6 percent) shared, “Priyanshi has changed just as a caterpillar metamorphoses into a butterfly. The teachers have instilled strong values in her, nurturing her soul and inner being in ways I cherish most. While academics are important, Jaipuria’s focus on nurturing the inner being has truly made a profound difference. I am very grateful to the school.”

Following the interaction, Mr. Vinay Pandey and Dr. Rashmi Singh felicitated 21 students who scored between 95.8% and 96.8%, appreciating their consistent dedication and effort.

The pinnacle of the evening came when Mrs. Anjali Jaipuria and Mrs. Promini Chopra honoured 36 toppers who secured between 97% and 99.6%—a proud and unforgettable moment for all present.

Subject toppers were then awarded medals by their respective teachers, symbolising excellence in individual disciplines. The students beamed with pride as they posed for photographs, holding their medals and certificates with well-deserved joy.

Mrs. Anjali Jaipuria congratulated the students, teachers, and parents. In her speech, she remarked, “We humans are blessed with the ability to transform ourselves at any moment and in countless ways, countless times in our lives. We can rise beyond our limitations and create a new version of ourselves—not just once, but every single day—through the choices we make. This is the Divine’s gift to us: an opportunity for boundless growth. Our aim is not only to lead a good life and do well, but to marry these outer aims with a higher purpose—to discover the Divine will within and work for its manifestation in physical life. We do not need to give up the world; we simply need to lead a conscious and purposeful life, always connected to our highest self within and continually transforming ourselves into perfect instruments of the Divine’s will.”

Principal Mrs. Promini Chopra, in her address, spoke about gratitude and the importance of remembering those who support us. She said, “As we celebrate our achievements and move forward in life, it is crucial that we do not forget the people who have walked alongside us—our teachers, our families, our friends, and even those who have quietly contributed to our journey.”

Further reflecting on learning from those who have achieved greatness, she said, “We are fortunate to have among us many who have achieved much and yet remain humble and grounded. Their example teaches us that true achievement is not about seeking personal glory, but about inspiring and uplifting those around us. Every act, no matter how small, can raise the consciousness of others and create a ripple effect of positivity and growth.”

Prof. Sampadananda Mishra, in his speech, reflected on what truly deserves celebration. He said, “On occasions like this, we naturally feel compelled to celebrate our success. But the real question is: should we celebrate success itself, or should we celebrate the qualities and efforts that bring about that success? The Mother has wisely said, ‘Replace success with perfection.’ If we look closely at those who have achieved genuine success in life, it is not luck or chance that has brought them there—it is their unwavering aspiration, their purity of intention, their sincerity, their hard work, and their determination. These are the qualities we must recognise and honour.”

He further shared, “Consider the story of Savitri—she did not change her decision even when it was foretold that her husband would die within a year. Her determination was not just about holding to her choice, but about believing she could save his life. That is the kind of determination that leads to real success.”

Prof. Vinod Solanki, in her speech, highlighted the living values observed in the school environment. She said, “You should take immense pride in studying at a school that places great value on culture and tradition, nurturing not just your mind but your inner being as well. At Jaipuria, what truly stands out is the sense of respect, honour, and compassion that is shown to everyone—from the guard at the gate to the children, parents, and teachers. This is a core value that is lived every day, and it is something I have observed firsthand in the way everyone is treated with dignity and kindness.”

The event culminated with the National Anthem, sung proudly by everyone present in the auditorium. As the final notes echoed through the hall, students were seen capturing memories with friends and teachers, expressing their gratitude through warm smiles, hugs, and words of thanks.
