Honouring the Language of the Gods: Sanskrit Diwas 2025

Embracing the Divine and Eternal nature of Sanskrit, Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Gomti Nagar, integrates the ‘language of the gods’ into the very heart of its pedagogy. We see it as a timeless bridge to India’s profound philosophical traditions. This vision is further brought to life through our bespoke ‘Devbhasha’ curriculum and numerous events in Sanskrit.
Sanskrit Day was celebrated in the school on 30th August 2025

The day began with an invocation, marked by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by our Chief Guest, Prof. Sampadananda Mishra ji, Dean of Culture and Director of the Centre for Human Sciences at Rishihood University, our Guest of Honour, Mr. Bharat Bhushan ji, Head of the Veda Department at the Central Sanskrit University, our Principal, Mrs. Promini Chopra, and the teachers of the Sanskrit department.

A vibrant cultural programme followed, featuring performances from our Nursery and UKG students. Middle school students left the audience spellbound with a melodious recitation of the 15th chapter of the Bhagavad Gita, which was followed by a short play in Sanskrit.

The programme concluded with a recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa by a nursery student, followed by the National Anthem.
