As part of its ongoing commitment to fostering environmentally conscious citizens, the school organised a three-day Sustainability Workshop on 8th, 9th, and 10th July 2026 for students of Grades III to VIII in collaboration with SparkLiv, an organisation dedicated to promoting sustainable living through awareness, responsible waste management, and circular economy practices.
The workshop provided students with an immersive learning experience, encouraging them to understand that sustainability is not merely a concept but a way of life. Through engaging presentations, interactive discussions, thought-provoking activities, and relatable real-world examples, the facilitators introduced students to essential environmental practices, including waste segregation, recycling, upcycling, the circular economy, and the importance of reducing single-use plastics.
One of the highlights of the workshop was its practical and hands-on approach. Students enthusiastically participated in activities, shared innovative ideas, and asked insightful questions, reflecting their growing awareness and curiosity about environmental conservation. They discovered how simple everyday choices—such as carrying reusable water bottles, using cloth bags, segregating waste responsibly, and giving new life to discarded materials—can collectively create a meaningful impact on the environment.
The sessions inspired students to view themselves as responsible custodians of the Earth, empowering them to adopt sustainable habits not only at school but also at home and within their communities. By emphasising that every mindful action, no matter how small, contributes to a larger purpose, the workshop reinforced the belief that collective efforts can pave the way for a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.
The school extends its heartfelt gratitude to the SparkLiv team for conducting this insightful three-day workshop. Their passion, expertise, and interactive approach left a lasting impression on our young learners, motivating them to become thoughtful changemakers who are committed to protecting and preserving our planet for generations to come.
