Yoga is a journey of inner self-development, enabling individuals to eventually discover the One Self in all and elevate their consciousness beyond the mental to a spiritual and supramental level, ultimately transforming and divinizing human nature.
On 21st June 2024, we celebrated International Yoga Day at Seth M.R. Jaipuria School. Over 600 people, which included students, teachers, administration staff and help staff, gathered at 4 different sections of the school to practice Yoga together. First, we began with Kashtha Takshanasana, followed by Namaskarasana.
Next, we practiced Makarasana and then Marjari Asana. After that, we moved on to Shashank Bhujangasana and Ardha Ushtrasana. We continued with Baddha Hasta Uttanasana and Akarnadhanurasana. Then, we performed Surya Namaskara with Surya mantras. Finally, we concluded with Kandharasana and Shavasana. This yoga practice left each participant energetic.
