The online Republic Day festivities were carried out with great perfection and enthusiasm by our student body. The energy, love and passion of our youth for the nation was evident throughout the event.
Hosted by the Vice Head Girl, Sonakshi Maheshwari and the Vice Head Boy, Mehul Singh, the event commenced with the addresses by the Vice Chairperson, Mrs. Anjali Jaipuria and the Principal, Mrs. Promini Chopra. Students presented vocal, instrumental and dance performances, celebrating India’s diversity and unity.
A skit reaffirming our faith in the principles of liberty, equality and fraternity, was portrayed, along with student-organized performances by the four Houses of the school, to bring forward the idea of ‘Our India’. As a tribute to the spirit of India, the Junior School put forth some performances as well.
The speeches by our Student Council members filled the audience with a sway of patriotic fervor. Class 11 and 12 students came together for a live panel discussion, questioning the idea of Gen Z upholding the integrity of India.The event concluded with the National Anthem.
The entire event acted as a reminder that India is and shall always remain a diverse nation, embracing all with a feeling of fraternity.
