

Declamation Competition of Junior School
Co-curricular activities form an integral part of the curriculum in Seth M. R. Jaipuria School, Gomti Nagar. To judge the expression, fluency and diction of the students, an Inter house Declamation Competition of Junior School was held in the month of April 2017. The students declaimed on various topics based on the attributes of their respective houses. The participants won accolades from one and all.

CLASS 2 ELOCUTION COMPETITION
“Poetry lifts the veil from the hidden beauty of the world, and makes familiar objects be as if they were not familiar.” – Percy Bysshe Shelly
As quoted from one of P. B. Shelley’s famous works, poetry is indeed imagination decorated with emotions, glittering words and rhymes. But what adds to the charm is the way it’s recited.
Junior school (class2) hosted an Inter house English Elocution competition on 25th April 2017. The children had presented an enchanting session of beautiful poems. The participants chose their poems based on the attributes and virtues of their respective houses . Despite intense competition, the jury came up with three winners. The winners are as follows :
1st – Anvesha Gupta – Krishna house
2nd – Manan Sainath – Krishna house
3rd – Arya Wardhan Singh – Godavari house
