DPS MUN – 2016 Kalyanpur, Kanpur

Team Jaipuria is never weary of Munning’.

Delhi Public School  Kalyanpur, Kanpur had organized its first Model UN conference from 1-3^rd September, 2016. A delegation of 10 students from Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Lucknow participated.The Model UN conference was organized under the aegis of the Delhi Public School Annual Festival, Panorama 2016.

The first day of the conference was interesting since various committees were simulated. The committees which were a part of the Munning were; General Assembly, Security Council, Indian Parliament, British Council on Economic reforms. Heated discussions, decisions, delivering diplomatic speeches,the delegates were ready with data, actions and counter actions.
The Students won laurels at the Conference with the awards being given to:

1. Bhaskar Vishwajeet- Best Delegate                    1^st   in Futuristic Security Council.
2. Nalin Mishra- High Commendation                  2^nd in British Council.
3. Shubh Sahai- High Commendation                   2^nd in Presidential Summit(Historic).
4. Shobhit Chaudhary- Special Mention               3^rd in  General Assembly.
5. Aditya Gupta- Special Mention                          3^rd in General Assembly.
6. Purujit Arora- Special Mention                          3^rd in Futuristic Security Council.

The award tally fetched the team from Seth M.R. Jaipuria lift the Best Delegation trophy, defeating 46 schools from across the country.
