Teacher Day Celebration – 2016

“”Teachers should be the best minds in the county”, Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a scholar and former President of India once said and emphasized that his birthday should be celebrated as Teacher’s Day. Teacher’s Day was celebrated at Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Lucknow on 5th September, 2016.There were some special moments when students spoke and performed various acts in the honor of the teachers. Their speeches were full of appreciation for their teachers. Students spoke with resplendent ideas and paid tribute to the valuable contribution made by teachers to the society by imparting knowledge and enlightening and shaping the career of students.Teachers Day at Seth M.R. Jaipuria School brought some nostalgic moments when class XII paid reverence and gratitude to the teachers for their selfless effort in imparting the best wisdom and enriching the education system in the process Students appreciated the indispensable role the teachers play in nurturing ones strength and talent and help students to forget their fears and weaknesses..The rock band, dances on popular indian songs of the 1960’s, english song, mimickery were few of the performances that the students showcased for the teachers.The teachers and the administration staff showed their talents at singing, acting, dancing etc.A day full of special memories which left a message from Jaipurian students for every Jaipurian teacher that a` teacher at Jaipuria is one who takes a hand, opens a mind and touches a heart’.
