Jaipuria Community Comes Together for Seven Days of Shrimad Bhagavat Katha

Three venues. More than a thousand people. One countdown that brought an entire school community together.

On June 25, 2026 grandparents, alumni, parents, students, teachers, support staff and administrators gathered in Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, with every eye fixed on the screen as T4 Education prepared to announce the World’s Best School Prizes. What followed was far more than the unveiling of a global recognition. It became a moment that every person present would remember as their own.
The announcement was screened simultaneously at the school’s Assembly Area and two auditoriums. All three locations were filled to capacity, with families arriving well before the scheduled announcement. The atmosphere throughout the campus reflected a shared sense of anticipation as performances by the school’s music and dance groups kept the audience engaged ahead of the global broadcast. The celebration also reached far beyond the campus through a live stream on YouTube, allowing alumni, well-wishers, families and members of the extended Jaipurian community from different parts of India and abroad to witness the announcement in real time and celebrate alongside those present on campus.
The celebration was graced by Major General (Retd.) A. K. Chaturvedi, AVSM, VSM, and Shri Alok Ranjan, IAS (Retd.), former Chief Secretary, Government of Uttar Pradesh, and Chairman, UPSIDC the Vice Chairperson of the school Mrs Anjali Jaipuria, Mr Kanak Gupta Director Seth M.R. Jaipuria schools, Principal Ms. Promini Chopra, the school leadership team, teachers, students, alumni, parents and grandparents. The Vice Chairman of the group of schools Mr Shreevats Jaipuria joined online.
Excitement steadily built across all three venues as the audience watched with bated breath the needles of the clock getting closer to 11.30am. Moments before the live stream began, almost every phone in the audience was raised to record the occasion. Families, students and teachers stood shoulder to shoulder, determined to capture a milestone and historical moment .
When the T4 Education logo appeared on the screens, followed by the World’s Best School Prizes, the halls briefly fell silent before filling with chants of “Jaipuria! Jaipuria!” The energy grew further on seeing Mr. Vikas Pota, Founder of T4 Education on the screen.
The defining moment arrived when the Community Collaboration category was announced and Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow was revealed among the Top 10 schools in the world.
The announcement was met with applause, cheers and visible emotion across the campus. Students hugged their teachers, parents congratulated one another, alumni joined the celebrations with their former mentors, and colleagues embraced after months of quietly preparing for the announcement under embargo. Many in the audience were seen wiping away tears of joy. Along with the Vice Chairperson Mrs. Anjali Jaipuria members across communities danced in joy.
A large handcrafted installation reading “Seth M.R. Jaipuria is Top 10” was unveiled by the Vice Chairperson along with the Principal, Mrs Promini Chopra and members of communities which have collaborated with the school to make it a joyful learning space.
Celebratory music followed, with students, teachers, parents and alumni joining together on their feet. Everyone started celebrating and dancing, turning the gathering into a campus-wide celebration that reflected the close bond shared within the Jaipurian community.
Vice Chairperson Mrs. Anjali Jaipuria and Principal Mrs Promini Chopra congratulated every member of the school community and expressed their gratitude towards them for building the culture that had earned international recognition from T4 education. Principal Mrs Promini Chopra spoke of spreading the values of empathy, humility and gratitude across the globe to make the world a better place through man making education. She also emphasised that grandparents are valued members of the school community. School must educate the child to interact more with grandparents to not only learn from them but also to make them joyful.
Mrs Anjali Jaipuria described the public announcement as a historic moment for every Jaipurian and said the recognition would carry the school’s philosophy of Conscious Transformation to a global audience through the World’s Best School Prizes.
Following her address, students presented another celebratory dance performance before families and staff gathered around specially created selfie points across the campus. Every attendee received commemorative stickers with the WBS logo carrying the message that Seth M.R. Jaipuria School was among the Top 10 schools in the Community Collaboration category at the World’s Best School Prizes. Students proudly placed the stickers on their uniforms, teachers wore them on their clothing and parents joined in as photographs were taken throughout the campus to mark the occasion.
As conversations continued, parents spoke about the relationships they had built through the school over the years, and alumni reflected on how being a Jaipurian had continued to shape their lives long after graduation. Many shared memories of their years at the school and spoke about carrying its values with them into their careers, higher education and communities. Hugs, congratulations and shared photographs became a common sight across all three venues as members of the community reflected on what the recognition meant to them.

The school also organised a special McDonald’s treat for students, parents, teachers, alumni and staff, giving everyone another opportunity to celebrate together.
Later, it was time to share the achievement with the wider community as the school leadership addressed members of the media during a press interaction on campus.
The celebrations extended beyond the school grounds. Digital congratulatory billboards announcing the school’s Top 10 recognition appeared at prominent locations across Lucknow, including the boarding gates at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport, allowing travellers and residents alike to join in celebrating the achievement.
The day concluded with thousands of photographs, conversations that will be remembered for years and a renewed sense of pride across generations of Jaipurians. Whether present on campus or connected through the YouTube live stream, members of the school community experienced the announcement together, reinforcing the spirit of community that lies at the heart of Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow.
