
Meraki, the unique language and mathematics segment of the Inter School Jaipuria Fest 2025, took center stage on the second day, bringing together over 500 students from more than 15 schools in Lucknow. Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Gomti Nagar buzzed with creativity, collaboration, and dynamic competition.
The debate had three categories: Power Rangers (6th and 7th grades), Avengers (8th and 9th grades), and Titans (10th to 12th grades). In this event, students discussed themes such as excessive dependency on AI eroding creativity and the conflict of the Supreme Court’s stray dog relocation order with the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act.
Simultaneously, the “आँखों देखी” event attracted budding journalists who demonstrated their flair for news reporting. The poetic soul of the fest shone brightly in the “काव्याभिव्यक्ति” event, where pairs performed poetry with heartfelt expression and artistic acting.
The solo humor event “हँसते-हँसते कट जाए रस्ते” brought laughter and fun to the fest. Participants entertained the audience with their own funny speeches about everyday life.
The mathematical mindsets of students were rigorously tested through a series of challenging events under the Mathematica banner. The “Math Millionaire” quiz engaged teams in a multi-level contest of logic, reasoning, and computation, encouraging quick thinking and conceptual mastery. Treasure Hunt had participants solving intricate puzzles and riddles across the campus, turning the entire school into a thrilling math quest.
Meanwhile, “Data Detective” tasks challenged students to unravel mysteries using grade-specific math skills, blending analytical thinking with teamwork. The “Design Thinking” competition invited teams to address real-world problems with innovative solutions, judged for creativity, feasibility, and clarity, emphasizing empathy and practical application.
Amid all this, the theatrical vibrance of “Thy Bard’s Market” added a literary theatrical element where teams sold products such as Language Translator Earbuds, Self Driving Car, Smart Watch and Air fryer, entirely in Shakespearean English.
The energy of social media was harnessed in the “Social Media Campaign” event, where students designed literary-themed campaigns comprising posts, videos, and strategies aimed at capturing the zeitgeist and trending literary ideas online.
The cultural spirit of the fest was beautifully highlighted in the event “लोक रंग.” One of the performances, the poem “Amusa ka Mela” by Kailash Gautam, enchanted the audience with its vivid portrayal of the New Moon night during the Kumbh Mela. This poem was performed by Suryansh Singh and Shivam Kumar from class 12, whose enactment was highly appreciated by the audience.
All day long, the fest’s venues thrummed with vibrant energy, becoming hubs of intellectual pursuit and creative expression. Participants impressed with their teamwork, critical insight, and artistic abilities, turning Jaipuria Fest 2025’s second day into a joyous celebration of youth and promise.
Wrapping up the event, the Jaipuria student band delivered a rocking performance featuring classic and alternative rock songs like “Paranoid,” “Second Boulevard of the Broken Child,” and “Zombie” by The Cranberries, enchanting the audience.
Stella Maris Inter College emerged as the champions of Meraki, securing the first spot, while GD claimed the second position.
