Shraddha 2024 – Celebrating National Sports Day

On 29th August 2024, Seth M.R. Jaipuria School celebrated National Sports Day with immense zest and enthusiasm, marking a day of unity and collaboration. The school was abuzz with energy as ex-students were warmly welcomed back to campus for a special event named ‘Shraddha.’ This friendly Football and Hockey match was a celebration of the enduring connection between our alumni and current students.

The event, aptly named ‘Shraddha,’ symbolized mutual respect and collaboration. The matches were played in a spirit of camaraderie, with both sides displaying remarkable teamwork and sportsmanship.

Students were seen talking to their seniors, who once played on the same field but are now excelling in various fields. With wide smiles, the ex-students fondly reminisced about their school days, sharing how the school’s practices and philosophy profoundly shaped their perspectives. These values, which they continue to embrace, guide them in navigating life’s challenges even today. One of the alumni shared, “The school has evolved significantly, from its infrastructure to its pedagogy over the years, yet it still retains the welcoming and blissful environment it had when I was here. I’m overwhelmed with emotions right now and sincerely hope that more events like this will be organized, allowing us to keep returning to our alma mater.”

In the spirit of true collaboration, each participant was honored by our Principal, Mrs. Promini Chopra, with a trophy as a memento of the day. These trophies bore no mention of individual victories, emphasizing that the day was about shared experiences, learning from one another, and celebrating the collective spirit of the Jaipurians.
