This year, on August 16th, 2024, the school once again witnessed a vibrant celebration of Sanskrit Diwas, where young minds showcased their profound understanding and appreciation for the language.
Organized by the dedicated Sanskrit Department, the event highlighted the significance of Sanskrit, which is taught as a compulsory subject from Playgroup to Class Eight.
The program served as a grand showcase of the students’ accomplishments throughout the year, with each class from Playgroup to Twelfth presenting their unique talents. The event was a kaleidoscope of activities, including classroom presentations, dramatic performances, soulful songs, engaging conversations, recitations of the Gita, chanting of mantras, and many other captivating performances.
Distinguished guests, Prof. Sarva Narayan Jha and Prof. Bharat Bhushan Tripathi from the Central Sanskrit University, Lucknow, graced the occasion with their presence. The program commenced with an inspiring speech by the school principal, Mrs. Promini Chopra, who emphasized the significance of Sanskrit in our culture and how the school integrates the language into the curriculum.
