Inspiring the young brigade; 14th November,was celebrated at Seth M.R. Jaipuria School; to celebrate ‘Childhood’, children who are the vital resource of a nation; the collective future of the world.
‘Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’, liked children as flower buds. He said they should be groomed with utmost care and affection. The birthday of ‘Chacha Nehru’ was fondly celebrated at all levels.
The Playgroup teachers organised few relay races among which the bunny race for the tiny tots was a fun for them. They hopped likes bunnies wearing bunny ears.
The students enjoyed in their classrooms a dance session followed by lunch where they shared tasty snacks with each other. They watched a short documentary film on Jawaharlal Nehru.
The Junior School conducted their Athletic Meet. The Principal Mrs. Promini Chopra and Head Academics and Innovations Mrs. Asha Chadaha declared the Athletic Meet open.The athletes participated in 50m to 400m range of races. Children participated with great zeal and enthusiasm.Gold ,Silver and Bronze medals and Trophies were awarded to the winners.
The Senior school students organised a friendly cricket match; students verses the teachers. With lots of cheers, sixes, boundaries no balls, catches, run outs, the match was interesting and engrossing.The spectators cheered for their favorite teachers but their were more clapping for the student team.
Seth M.R. Jaipuria School paid tribute to the day by pledging to mould these ‘Little Adults’ to become self-reliant and responsible citizens.
