SPIC MACAY – 2017 (Pandit Rajendra Prasanna ji)

Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Lucknow had another scintillating performance organised on 17th November, 2017, under the ages of Spic Macay. Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Lucknow has a long association with Spic Macay, a non-political nationwide voluntary movement that  organises programmes of classical music and dance folk, arts, crafts etc., in schools and colleges throughout the world to make the students more aware about Indian and world heritage.   Pandit Rajendra Prasanna ji, an Indian flutist and oboe of Hindustani and classical music from the Benaras Gharana mesmerized the students with his rendition of Raag Vrindavan. On the flute Pt. Prasanna ji captivated the students when he played Sare Jahan Se Accha…………………and Vaishna Jan  To Tene Re Kahiye……………………and made the audience sing along.
