Children’s Day – 2016 Celebration (Middle and Senior School)

To  renew the school’s commitment towards children, Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Lucknow celebrated ‘Children’s Day’ with a cultural programme for its Middle and Senior students. The Principal Mrs. Promini Chopra spoke to the students that ” all teachers are your true mentors. If they scold you once, they care for you always. Every effort made by a teacher goes a long way in a students life. ”

The day was celebrated with lot of love and warmth. Teachers blessed the children with loads of happiness, cheer, good health, fun and sunshine.The day began with the prayers by the teachers which was followed by a Hindi play which was a satire on the education system. Teachers also sang a group song with old numbers like Nanneh Munne Teri Muthi Mai Kya Hai……, Nani Teri Morni Ko More Le Gaye…….., Lakdi ki kathi, kathi pe ghoda………… The students joined the teachers and enjoyed the songs. A parody of songs was another attraction which made the students dance at the musical beats. English play was applauded by the students where the senior teachers enacted a scene of a classroom. This act had all the students in splits of laughter. A day with lot of enjoyment ended with the singing of the National Anthem.  A very Happy Children’s Day to all the students of Seth M.R. Jaipuria School.
