To hold aloft the flags of honour in academics, sports and co-curricular activities; to grace the positions of heads of the various houses and the Head Boy and the Head Girl and to serve as a bridge between the community of teachers and students:these are but a few of the great privileges that the council of students of Seth M.R. Jaipuria School Lucknow, were conferred with badges at the Investiture Ceremony held on 15th July 21016.
The House Master’s of the Four houses, Ganga, Godavari, Krishna and Narmada introduced the respective Council Members who pledged to play an integral part in discharging their various duties throughout the year and to believe in what our Father of the Nation said,” Be the change that you wish to see in the world”.
The Principal Mrs. Promini Chopra conferred the badges to the Council Members. In her speech the Principal emphasised upon the Council Members,”As leaders, make the motto of the school’Ignorance to Knowledge’ reach its zenith”. The Principal reiterated that the selected leaders have the “responsibility to be role models to bring in the change for which a deliberate and conscious effort is desired and to bring in transformation through knowledge which shall lead to growth”.
The Investiture Ceremony concluded with the determined words that the Council is an epitome of diligence, perseverance, responsibility and swear to live up to all the expectations.
