SCIENCIA- fifth edition 2026

Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Gomti Nagar Lucknow came alive with curiosity, scientific exploration, and innovative thinking on August 19, 2026, as it hosted the fifth edition of Sciencia, a major event of the Inter-School Jaipuria Fest. The event brought together students from twenty schools across Lucknow and the surrounding regions, creating an energetic platform for analytical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving. With “Elements of Science” as its theme, the festival encouraged participants to examine imaginative sci-fi ideas and connect them with the scientific principles underlying them, while promoting teamwork and critical thinking. The competition consisted of several engaging and distinctive events. Masquerade, the roleplay segment, saw participants stepping into the lives of eminent personalities such as Tessy Thomas, M.S. Swaminathan, and Asima Chatterjee, highlighting both their personal journeys and significant contributions to science. Verbal Verdict, the debate segment, challenged participants to examine a thought-provoking proposition and present their arguments effectively. The director’s special event, Mystery Hunt, tested teams under demanding conditions as they worked against the clock to decipher intricate ciphers and locate a hidden object, requiring coordination, logical reasoning, and quick decision-making.

At the conclusion of the competition, Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Kursi Road emerged as the overall champion, winning the championship trophy through strong performances across the different categories. Stella Maris School secured the runner-up position after delivering a commendable and consistent performance throughout the event.

The event was efficiently coordinated by student directors Navyaa Srivastava and Aarna Trivedi assisted by the admin heads Nishant Singh Negi and Aaradhya Shree Srivastava with the support of faculty coordinators Mr. Vimal Kumar,Dr.Rashmi Singh, Mrs. Runa Sanyal, and Mrs. Varsha Trivedi. The programme was made a huge success benefited from the valuable administrative guidance received from our Principal Mrs. Promini Chopra, Vice Principal Academics Mrs. Deepa Wahi, Vice Principal Dr Anupam Vidyarthi, and Senior School Head Master Mr. Vinay Pandey and A.O.Mrs Mitali Srivastava along with the teaching faculty, student logistics team, and support staff.

The fifth edition of Sciencia concluded as a successful celebration of scientific curiosity, intellectual ability, teamwork, and the spirit of healthy competition, leaving participants with an experience that extended well beyond the confines of a conventional inter-school contest.
