The school recently organised an orientation session for parents and students of Classes 1 to 9, creating a space for interaction, understanding and reflection at the beginning of the academic journey. Designed as an engaging and interactive session, the programme introduced participants to various learning experiences and activities that form an important part of school life.
The session began with a warm welcome, after which teachers guided parents through a series of short interactive segments. Through simple demonstrations and activities, they shared glimpses of classroom practices that encourage curiosity, participation and thoughtful learning among students.
One segment introduced parents to Sanskrit in a lively manner, showing how language learning can be both enjoyable and meaningful. Another part of the programme focused on adaptive learning practices, helping parents understand how students engage with concepts at their own pace while strengthening their understanding of different subjects.
Teachers also conducted interactive activities such as a mathematics-based game and logical thinking exercises, giving parents a glimpse of how problem-solving and reasoning are encouraged during classroom learning.
The programme included a reflective activity that invited participants to think about the role of values in everyday life. Questions such as whether practising values daily changes the way we live, and how important values remain in today’s fast-paced world, encouraged parents and teachers to reflect together on the larger purpose of education.
The orientation concluded with a short address and a gratitude note, bringing the session to a thoughtful close.
