The spirit of creativity, curiosity, and celebration lit up the campus of Seth M. R. Jaipuria School as the Junior School hosted its much awaited Intraschool Art and Literary Fest, Kaleidoscope 2024, from 15 to 17 July. More than just a competition, Kaleidoscope unfolded as a joyous festival, a vibrant tapestry of talent, self expression, and discovery.
The inaugural ceremony began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Principal, Mrs. Promini Chopra, along with the Junior School Heads: Mrs. Joyita Mishra, Mrs. Roopsie Bhargava, and Mrs. Parul Kalra. In her address, Mrs. Chopra encouraged students to immerse themselves in participation and enjoyment rather than focusing solely on results.
Over three engaging days, the school buzzed with excitement as students took part in a wide spectrum of events including:
Hindi Story Narration, where young voices breathed life into traditional tales
Sanskrit Shloka Chanting, connecting students with India’s linguistic and spiritual heritage
Quiz Competitions that tested awareness through lively audio visual, logical reasoning, and current affairs rounds

Innospark: Design Thinking, where ideas turned into purposeful solutions
Among the many moments that stood out, reflections by participants captured the essence of the festival.
Vidit Pandey of Class 4E, who participated in Innospark Design Thinking, shared, “Working on my talking robot helped me understand how technology can support learning. I had to think about how others would use it, which made me more mindful. It was exciting to see an idea become something real.”
Aanav Narvaria of Class 5B, who joined the GK Quiz, said, “Each round made me think differently, whether it was watching a video or answering a buzzer question in seconds. I realised that knowing things is fun, but applying them is even better.”
Advik Singh of Class 3B, who explored Tangrams, noted, “At first, I didn’t know how the shapes would form anything, but as I kept trying, I saw patterns appear. It taught me that puzzles are like life, you figure them out step by step.”
Darshpreet Kaur of Class 1G, who chanted a Sanskrit shloka, said, “I practiced a lot and still felt nervous, but when I stood on stage, I remembered the meaning of the shloka. It made me feel peaceful, like I was saying something important.”
The jury included renowned professionals, parents, and alumni who brought diverse perspectives and offered warm encouragement to all participants.
The closing ceremony was marked with joy and pride as winners were felicitated by Mrs. Joyita Mishra, Mrs. Roopsie Bhargava, and Mrs. Parul Kalra. Every participant received a certificate in recognition of enthusiasm, courage, and creative spirit.
