Fiesta: UKG B, C, and D —A Celebration of Joy, Learning, and Togetherness

The KG Fiesta for the UKG B, C, and D sections of Seth M. R. Jaipuria School was held on 16 September 2026 at the JIM auditorium.  Through an engaging mix of dances, rhymes, skits, and parent collaborations, the young learners brought the stage alive, creating precious memories for themselves and the audience. The auditorium was lit up with bright smiles as proud parents and teachers encouraged and celebrated the achievements of their young ones, who mesmerised the audience with their intelligence, charm, and boundless talent.

The programme began on a reverential note, with the students presenting a special segment on Guru Purab. They highlighted the ten Gurus, each representing a particular set of values and messages such as compassion, devotion, and selfless service. This was followed by a series of presentations that explored the theme of nature through rhymes and songs. ‘Nature’s Little Teachers’ featured animals associated with Hindu Gods and Goddesses and presented a visual treat to the audience with children dressed in captivating animal costumes. ‘Great Attractions’ was a witty presentation that drove home the message that, while devices such as mobiles, televisions, and laptops serve a purpose, they can never truly replace the bond of human love and connection. The presentation on ‘Gen Alpha – Born Ready’ humorously unraveled Gen Alpha’s flair for technology, concluding with the pertinent slogan: ‘We are Gen Alpha—and we have the tech chip pre-installed! We learn fast, think smart, and love to explore!’.

The students continued to deliver more presentations, which were at once educative and enlightening. Through English and Hindi poems, students extolled the virtues of Arjuna’s capacity for concentration, the power of unity, and the importance of perseverance. The Sanskrit presentation on respect for food opened the eyes of the children to the labour and value involved in the process of food production and taught them to be grateful for food they receive. ‘A Festival of Joy’ exemplified the spirit of joy, kindness, love, and togetherness. ‘The Treasures Inside the Suitcase’ presentation featured an eye-catching prop, as a suitcase with richly illuminated lights carried the values of kindness, laughter, family, nature, and gratitude. While no event is complete without a dance performance, it was a delightful surprise to see young children dressed in beautiful Mekhela Chador and presenting an elegant Bihu performance to celebrate the Assamese festival of harvest.

Throughout the presentation, children proudly celebrated the fact that Seth M. R. Jaipuria School has been recognised by T4 Education among the Top 10 World’s Best School Prizes. An exclusive segment featured collaborative performances between children and parents, which nurtured and strengthened the bond between children, parents, and the entire School community. This sequence also saw an engaging interaction between the parents and the Principal, Ms. Promini Chopra. In response to the Principal’s thoughtful questions, the parents recounted several warm anecdotes and experiences from their interaction with the School. The parents belonging to different professional backgrounds brought diverse perspectives on topics ranging from fine arts, sustainability, dentistry, science, and DMIT.

The event also featured a spontaneous and lively interaction with the Vice-Chairperson, Ms. Anjali Jaipuria. She also addressed the gathering in which she covered a wide array of topics: community collaboration, the importance of Sanskrit, the valour of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the influence of her Guru Shri Kireet Joshi, the teachings of the Mother and Sri Aurobindo, particularly ‘Conscious Transformation’. In light of T4 Education’s recognition of the School, she asked the audience what community collaboration meant to them. One parent responded saying that it is the value of ‘inclusivity’ which exemplifies the spirit of community collaboration. She also spoke about the four aspects and the twelve qualities represented by the Mother’s symbol and emphasised in particular the quality of sincerity. During her interaction with the parents, they acknowledged that the School’s motto of ‘Conscious Transformation’ was bearing manifest results in the growth of their children.

The event concluded with a note of gratitude. Ms. Anjali Jaipuria felicitated all the parent collaborators. She also expressed her heartfelt gratitude to everyone, including: Prof. Vinod Solanki, former Head of the Department of English, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University; the Principal, Ms. Promini Chopra; Ms. Kanika Chopra, Headmistress (Pre-Primary); Ms. Milli Chatterjee, Academic Coordinator (Pre-Primary); Ms. Chitra Panjwani and Ms. Gauri Tewari (Class Teachers of UKG B), Ms. Kriti Srivastava and Ms. Tanya Srivastava (Class Teachers of UKG C); and Ms. Swati Gupta and Ms. Akriti Sahoo (Class Teachers of UKG D). The gathering sang the Jaipuria Anthem and the National Anthem, bringing a joyful celebration of learning, togetherness, and shared memories to a warm close.
