
On 21st December 2025, the Umang fete at Seth M.R. Jaipuria School brought students, parents, teachers and staff together, with every part of the campus filled with conversations and cheerful moments.
After a serene lighting of the lamp, the student choir beautifully sang Laagi Lagan Shankara, marking a divine beginning for a day full of joy. The fete was declared open by Principal Promini Chopra Ma’am.
The fete grounds were dotted with a wide range of thoughtfully designed game stalls, each drawing its own enthusiastic crowd. Students and parents moved eagerly from one stall to another, testing their skills memory coordination and teamwork. Games like Mathbola Spot the Brand and Jenga Mania kept minds sharp and nerves steady, while Food Charades and Songs Dumb Charades sparked loud laughter as participants acted their hearts out.
Action-packed stalls such as Gun Blaster Balloon Shooting, Nerf It Up and Nerf Knock Down became instant favourites, with cheers erupting every time a perfect shot hit its target. Strength and focus were put to the test at Check Your Strength, where participants held dumbbells against time, encouraged by countdowns from the crowd. Meanwhile Kancha Re Kancha Re Don’t Let the Ball Drop and Ring Around the Bottle demanded balance and concentration, keeping players fully engaged.
The Yoga Stall offered a calm break from the lively games, inviting participants to slow down and refocus. Yoga pose challenges encouraged balance breath control and mindfulness, gently highlighting the importance of inner calm and physical well-being.
Pop culture found its place through games like Guess the Meme Meme Master Guess the Song through Emojis and Ping Pong Quiz, where participants proudly showcased their knowledge. Puzzle and memory-based challenges such as Unlock the Treasure The Lost Key Treasure Buster Recall Rush and Memory Rush drew those who enjoyed solving clues under pressure. The Sand Treasure Hunt added an element of suspense, with hands digging eagerly until the hidden prize was found.
One of the biggest attractions of the fete was the Squid Game Zone, where popular challenges like Dalgona Dakchi and Gong-Gi were recreated, giving students the thrill of experiencing familiar games in a safe and exciting environment.
Several creatively designed selfie spots across the campus became instant crowd magnets, with parents and students stopping to capture cheerful moments. Phones were constantly out as families posed, laughed and turned the fete into a gallery of memories.
Adding colour and creativity to the day were the Face Painting and Art Stalls. Students walked around with playful face tattoos, stars symbols and tiny designs, giving the entire campus a festive look. At the art corner, small canvases were displayed and sold, while talented students created caricatures, doodles and quick sketches, leaving visitors with personalised keepsakes and smiles.
After enjoying the many games and activities, visitors headed to the food stalls to recharge and indulge. From chaat and golgappas to dosas, Chinese food, chole bhature and refreshing beverages, the spread ensured there was something for everyone to enjoy before diving back into the festivities.
The fun rides zone was a delight for children and adults alike, adding an extra dose of thrill to the celebrations. Colourful air castles, a joyful toy train ride, trampolines, merry-go-rounds, bouncing slides and mini adventure rides kept the excitement going, making the area one of the most lively corners of the fete.
The stage came alive with a series of performances by students as well as parents. Soulful renditions of devotional songs like Shankar Sankat Harana Aashayein Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram and Achyutam Keshavam created moments of calm and devotion, while energetic performances quickly shifted the mood. Parents joined students on stage, matching steps and smiles as they danced to popular favourites like Kala Chashma Gallan Goodiyaan Nagada Sang Dhol Shaky and London Thumakda, turning the stage into a celebration of shared joy and enthusiasm.
The day also featured a warm and meaningful Secret Santa activity for teachers staff and support staff. Standing together in a circle, gifts were passed left and right as a story was read aloud by Nishchala Ma’am, the school counsellor. Teachers added a personal touch by writing notes for their Secret Santa, making the exchange even more special.
