Young Quiz Champs Bring Home Second Place at Bharat Ko Jano Competition

Our school is proud to share that Arjun Misra (Class 8) and Samyak Verma (Class 7) secured Second Position in the “Bharat Ko Jano” Quiz Competition, organised by Bharat Vikas Parishad. The event, held at Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, saw participation from several reputed schools across Lucknow.

The quiz tested students across six engaging rounds, covering a wide range of topics including India’s heritage, current affairs, and the country’s leadership and defence achievements. Participants answered questions about cabinet ministers, the indigenous fighter jet Tejas, and identified pictures of sports personalities, freedom fighters, festivals, and Presidents.

The competition also included a rapid-fire round, where Arjun and Samyak confidently tackled questions on international airports across India. The audio-visual round featured clips like the voice of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, popular songs such as Srivalli, and movie scenes to test recognition and recall under pressure.

Among a strong line-up of Lucknow’s finest schools, our team stood out for their composure, teamwork, and deep knowledge. The students were guided by Vandana Ma’am, whose mentorship played a vital role in their preparation and success.

Reflecting on the experience, Arjun shared, “I feel thankful to the school for giving me this opportunity. The quiz helped me grow because every round made me think differently and learn something new.”
