Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Gomti Nagar, recently celebrated the timeless practice of yoga with its Inter-House Yoga Competition, a vibrant display of strength, balance, and mindfulness. Students from Classes I to VIII participated with remarkable poise, precision, and grace, reflecting their dedication and deep understanding of yogic values.
Held in the school’s Yoga Room, the competition saw students representing the four Houses—Wisdom, Strength, Harmony and Perfection, —perform a range of asanas that highlighted flexibility, steadiness, and inner calm. More than a contest of skill, the event was a meditative journey, demonstrating that yoga is not merely an exercise but a harmonious union of body, mind, and spirit.
The event concluded during the morning assembly on Wednesday, 8th October, when Ms Deepa Wahi and Ms Joyita Mishra felicitated the deserving winners. Their beaming smiles reflected not only achievement but also the quiet joy that comes from mindful effort and self-discipline.
Congratulations to all the winners!
