CISCE UP & UK ZONAL X YOGA Competition and CISCE Pre yoga Olympiad Zonal Competition

Lucknow witnessed an exuberant display of talent and skill as eight prestigious schools came together for the highly anticipated CISCE UP & UK ZONAL X YOGA and CISCE Pre Yoga Olympiad Zonal competitions.

The event began with beautiful performances, starting with a Classical Dance performance, and then an enchanting musical performance where our students performed a blissful medley. Later our school choir sang the National song.

The judges of the event were Mr. Gulam Askari Zaidi, Mr. Vipin Kumar Pathik, Ms. Rakhi Sarkar, Mr. Vinay Kumar Srivastav, Dr. Durgesh Kumar, Dr. Ruby Srivastava, Ms. Seema Singh, and Dr. Ashutosh Gupta.

The championship featured a total of eight schools divided into two zones. In Zone A, we witnessed the participation of Lucknow Public College Sahara State, CMS Aliganj, and CMS Lucknow Gomti Nagar Campus 1. Meanwhile, Zone B boasted the presence of CMS Station Road, CMS Kanpur Road, CMS Rajajipuram, and CMS Chowk.

Under the guidance of esteemed panel judges, the event unfolded gracefully and enthusiastically. Each school brought forth its best contenders across three age categories: under 14, under 17, and under 19. These young athletes showcased their talents across three distinct yoga categories: group yoga, rhythmic yoga, and artistic yoga.

Just as the sun rises to illuminate the sky, so did the participants rise to showcase their strength, flexibility, and artistry. From intricate poses to synchronized movements, each performance was a testament to the dedication and hard work invested by both the students and their mentors.

As the day unfolded, spectators were treated to a visual feast of grace and athleticism. From the serene tranquility of group yoga to the dynamic expressions of rhythmic yoga, and the captivating artistry of artistic yoga, each category brought its own unique flavor to the event.
