Gita Pratiyogita

From 8th to 17th February, four Gita recital competitions, also known as Geeta Pratiyogita, were held at Seth M.R. Jaipuria School. Students from classes 5th to 8th participated with great enthusiasm. Recitations from the 3rd Adhyaya of the Bhagavad Gita filled the atmosphere of the school auditorium with divine bliss.

Each participant began by reciting shlokas, then narrated the meaning behind them in Hindi. They were judged based on how well they spoke and how well they understood and explained it.
