Count down ends, Jaipuria Festival Begins

Jaipuria Festival began today, 24th August with unmatched enthusiasm in students and teachers. 600 participants from 26 schools lent colour to day 1 of the festival.
On Day 1 two student led events Sollertia,an event to gauge the artist in a child and Sciencia to find the Science buffs culminated paving way for day 2 where Meraki a Hindi and English literary event and Maths will begin at 8am

SOLLERTIA: A Triumph of Artistic Excellence at Seth M.R. Jaipuria’s Inter School Jaipuria Fest 2023

Seth M.R. Jaipuria School hosted its first-ever edition of ‘Sollertia,’ an inter-school art event that brought together budding young artists from 18 esteemed schools across the region. This pioneering event showcased the exceptional talents of the participants and celebrated the spirit of artistic expression. The event not only provided a platform for creative minds to shine but also embodied the values of sportsmanship and generosity.

Sollertia, meaning “skill” or “ingenuity” in Latin, truly lived up to its name as students poured their hearts and souls into an array of artistic mediums, transcending the boundaries of imagination. The event took place on 24th August, in the entirety of which participants engaged in various art forms, including painting, sculpture and clay modeling. There were events ranging from Lagare, meaning legacy ,to Conflictus, where students poured the conflicts of their emotions on the canvas. If Fantasia was instrumental in taking students to their fantasy worlds, then Aediculus required students to sketch the real life scenarios.The campus was transformed into a vibrant hub of creativity, where colors, shapes, and ideas converged to create a visual symphony.

The highlight of Sollertia was the unparalleled collaboration among 18 participating schools, each bringing a unique perspective to the artistic dialogue. Students not only showcased their artistic prowess but also learned from each other’s techniques and styles. The event fostered an environment of camaraderie, where young artists celebrated the diversity of artistic expression.

The climax of Sollertia was the much-anticipated awards ceremony, where Seth M.R. Jaipuria School emerged victorious. However, acknowledging the exceptional efforts of runner up City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar campus 1 Seth M.R. Jaipuria School presented the trophy to CMS. Navsrijan was the second runner up.
True essence of art is not just in winning accolades but in the bonds forged and the values upheld. We are grateful to all participating school headships and teachers for adding value to Sollertia.

Chief Guest, Sir Prashant Pal Singh, President of Lucknow Architecture Association, expressed his utmost pride in the students’ achievements and the overall success of Sollertia. He stated, “Sollertia was not just an art event; it was a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and compassion. We are incredibly proud of the artistic faculties displayed by all participants and the remarkable gesture shown by the school in recognizing the talents of fellow participants.”

With its inaugural edition, Sollertia has established itself as an annual beacon of artistic caliber and conviviality.

As the curtain falls on the first edition of Sollertia, the legacy of this event will undoubtedly continue to inspire future generations of artists. The event has not only enriched the participants but has also sowed the seeds of a new artistic movement that transcends boundaries and promotes unity through the language of art.

Behold the grandeur of the Inter-School Jaipuria Fest! We gather here with an air of refinement and splendour to unravel the tapestry of greatness woven by the minds of our generation’s youth. The Inter-School Jaipuria Fest is a convergence of intellectual prowess, creative innovation, and athletic talent resulting in a crescendo of achievement.
From 24th August to 26th August, when the energies of everyone will be high as we come together to witness the convergence of talent and ambition. It is a journey to the shrine of brilliance, a homage to the never-ending pursuit of greatness.
SCIENCIA
It is a student-driven effort from the Science Club. We also organized its first edition last year, with participation from 12 schools, but this year we had participants from around 20 schools, which is an accomplishment for all of us.
WHERE SCIENCE MEETS STRANGER THINGS: UNVEILING THE MYSTERIES OF “SCIENCIA”

Uralling voyage into the realms of science and the unknown. Participants were in for a thrilling adventure as they explored the mysteries that reflect the weird and exceptional events featured in the series. The organizers went above and beyond in creating the creepy atmosphere, with flickering lights, cryptic events, and enigmatic decorations.

The Seth M.R. Jaipuria School Science Club guarantees that students remain involved in analyzing and investigating the evolution of science, transcending the limitations of ignorance toward understanding. Stranger Things is the theme of the current edition of Sciencia. It’s a nexus where the rational and the uncanny coalesce, forging a gateway to a realm where the improbable becomes plausible. Imagine a world where scientific marvels coexist with supernatural mysteries that have fascinated and perplexed humanity for generations.

The results that we see now reflect the passion, persistence, and exceptional brilliance that each participant brought to the event. These individuals have pushed the boundaries of convention, excavating into the enthralling convergence of scientific phenomena and undiscovered territory that inspired the “Stranger Things” storyline.
Conclusion –
The anticipation that had been building throughout the event reached its zenith during the closing ceremony and results.
The trophy was awarded to Saint Francis School,Gomti Nagar though the overall winners were Jaipuria School,Gomti Nagar. Runners up trophy was bagged by G.D.Goenka. With a hushed anticipation, attendees were transported into a realm where the boundaries of reality and imagination merged seamlessly. As we say farewell to this chapter, we carry the suspenseful intensity, profound resonance, and transporting magic that made “Sciencia” an event that transcended the ordinary and dared to embrace the unknown with us. Until the next voyage into the realm of science and imagination, we remain inspired by the mysteries that lie just beyond our grasp.
