‘Firsts are the best because they are beginnings.’
We welcomed our Pre-Primary children with their parents on the first day of the 2023-24 school year. One could sense the excitement and nervousness in both children and their parents.
The chirpy little ones entered their classrooms for the first time, eagerly exploring and becoming aware of their surroundings. Scribbling, dancing and playing around, they were powerhouses of energy, keeping everyone on their toes. A crucial day, they had a splendid time getting to know each other and learning through some fun and musical introductory activities with their teachers.
As they grew comfortable in their new classrooms, their parents got a first hand experience of the school’s pedagogy. They participated in some activities using play way methods, meant to enhance their children’s sensory and fine motor skills, along with developing an understanding of how Sanskrit is taught practically through the Devabhasha curriculum. It was definitely a successful day, full of happiness and positive energy, with parents and teachers coming together for this smooth transition.
