An Inter School Commerce Debate was organised by the Commerce Club on 5th November, 2022 with four teams from across the city. The Principal, Mrs. Promini Chopra, in her address spoke about how the world is ruled by Commerce, pressing upon the need to provide more platforms for debates and discussions for students hailing from the Commerce background.
Mrs. Nikhat Khan, Entrepreneur and Educationist, along with Dr. Hemendra Gupta, Assistant Professor at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow were our esteemed judges for the event.

Speaking for and against the topic at hand – ‘Young Indian Entrepreneurs should explore Agricultural Industry in the present times to become financially secure’, the students expressed their opinions and responded constructively during the rebuttal rounds. They elaborated the potential of the Agricultural sector along with the up and coming Agritech industry as a viable profession for the youth.
The best speaker for the motion was Pavani Kalra from Study Hall, and against the motion was Keshav Mittal from La Martiniere College. The team from La Martiniere College, Lucknow also grabbed the overall first position, while the team from Study Hall was the runner up.
