SPIC MACAY Qawwali Performance by the Warsi Brothers

We were thrilled to host one of the most esteemed qawwali ensembles, the Warsi Brothers, on 6th September at Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Gomti Nagar.

Mohammed Ahmed Khan Warsi ji’s forefathers were court musicians of the Rampur durbar and he has continued their lineage by performing in several cities across the world. He has been honoured with many awards throughout his career for his contributions to the genre of qawwali.

The delightful Sufi rendition presented by Warsi ji and his troupe left us all spellbound. Students of our school were enthralled with the performance which demonstrated the immense potential of artistic emotional expression.
