On 5th March, 2022, the Social Awareness Club conducted its first excursion trip to a slum in Chowk, Lucknow.
The team under the guidance of Alok Dixit sir, Shweta Jaitely ma’am and Gurpreet Kaur ma’am completed a donation drive on the topic- ‘Menstrual Hygiene and Cleanliness’.
With Harsh Agarwal and Aditi Rastogi leading the campaign, the club members successfully conducted the drive and distributed sanitary napkins along with disposal instructions, biscuits, paper soaps and packaged drinking water as per the requirements of the residents of the slum.
Full of enthusiasm, the team made the drive become a reality.
