“Books help in guiding the way but practical knowledge helps in experiencing that way.” Keeping the aforementioned quote in mind, Grade 3 decided to organize an online ‘Monster Fancy Dress Party’- a party for which a veritable monster would have hankered after. Students enjoyed a few hours of make-believe as they dressed up as a monster they liked the most. A lesson from their course book was the afflatus behind this exemplary idea. Learning through role play helps students explore their imagination and delve in fantasy. The children were encouraged to come ‘dressed to impress’ and they surely did!
