An online inter-school cultural fest, Mridang, saw participation from 16 schools across Lucknow, Kanpur, Noida, Hisar, Unnao and Gurugram. The theme for Mridang was Epiphany, keeping in mind the year 2020 and the many realizations that came with it.

The event focused on student’s expressing themselves through music and dance, with a number of sub-events catering to all age groups:

·         Liberation through Expression – Group Dance

·         Make it Your Own – Solo singing on Western Music

·         Alfaaz – Duet singing

·         Rhapsody – Solo instrumental

From its conception to its promotion to its execution, the entire fest was handled by Jaipuria students under the guidance of the Music & Dance department teachers. The managing committee of the fest consisted of Sania Bhargava (Public Relations), Sonakshi Maheshwari (Head – Dance) and Lavanya Gupta (Head – Music). The event heads were Aryan Agarwal, Aliza Qadir, Aishnai Singh, Anushrita Ghosh, , Krishna Agarwal, Manas Sainath, Mangalya Singh and Sushmithaa Jain.
