It is getting increasingly important to teach our children gratefulness towards both living and non-living alike and more so during these troubled times. On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, we encouraged its students to forge a bond not just with their family but also with Mother Nature. The students were asked to observe Vriksha Bandhan by tying a sacred symbolic thread “mouli” to a tree or plant, and vow to protect the trees that selflessly give us so much, including life itself.
We also encouraged the students to observe Suraksha Bandhan by showing gratitude to all teachers and educators who are working very hard to protect their education and safeguard their future.
The school witnessed participation from more than 200 students for these campaigns from students belonging to the Pre-Primary through Senior School.
