At Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Gomti Nagar, we believe in guiding our students every step of the way in their educational journey. Owing to this belief, the school organized a career counseling webinar for its passing out students to help them choose the right career path. What made this webinar special was that the speakers were alumni of the school who, having gained admission to some of the top colleges of the country, shared their first-hand experience with the students.
The Webinar was divided into two panels: Panel 1 was dedicated to Traditional Careers and Panel 2 was dedicated to Offbeat Careers. The moderator for the webinar was Mr. Rahul Singh, President of the Alumni Association of Seth M.R. Jaipuria School.
The Webinar was also attended by Ms. Anjali Jaipuria, Vice-Chairperson and Ms. Promini Chopra, Principal along with other teaches from the Senior School.
With panelists belonging to varied fields, the webinar provided a good knowledge of different industries, trends and in-demand careers to the students.
The panelists were asked various questions on admission procedures, entrance exams, colleges, recommended courses as well as on the career trajectory that one can have in a particular industry.
Besides answering the questions posed by the students. the panelists also shared experiences and anecdotes from their life. They spoke about the choices they made and why, the struggles they faced and the knowledge they gained in the process. The panelists shared their valuable insights and expertise with the students and even offered to guide and mentor them in their education journey.
