Jeevesh and sidharth lead Jaipurian cricket team to clinch the title
Jeevesh Srivastava’s 35 Runs and 3 Wickets along with Siddharth shekhar Singh’s 28 Runs and 3wickets helped Jaipuria cricket team to drub the challenge of DPS Jankipuram by 6 runs in the final of the Under 15 National Talent Search Cricket Tournament organized by Schools Sports Promotion Foundation and Sports Authority of India(Lucknow-district) at CMS , Kanpur Road Campus Lucknow.
Jaipuria against all speculations, decided to bat first and posted a healthy total of 113 runs for 8 wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Their bowlers took charge then to polish off DPS Jankipuram’s innings on 107 in 18 overs. Jeevesh srivastava and Siddharth Shekhar Singh bagged three wickets each to complete the demolition of DPS Jankipuram. Jeevesh Srivastava was declared the Man of the Match. He scored hat trick as he won the title thrice in the tournament.
In the First Round, Jaipuria defeated CMS Rajendra Nagar and Abhishek kumar was declared as the man of the match. In the second round, Jaipuria defeated CMS (Kanpur Rd )by 3 runs and Om Singh was declared the Man of the match. In the Quarter Finals, Jaipuria defeated St. Xavier College by 129 runs and Jeevesh Srivastava was declared as the Man of the match for scoring 73 runs and taking 2 wickets. In Semifinals against La Martiniere College, Jaipurian team again emerged winners by 61 runs and Jeevesh Srivastava won adulation for being the man of the Match.
The Jaipuria Cricket Team includes Jeevesh Srivastava (captain), Vaibhav Duggal (wicket keeper), Siddharth Shekhar Singh, Aveeneth Singh, Abhigyan Singh, Aditya, Prajjwal Singh, Aarush Singh, Om Singh, Abhishek Kumar, Vinayak, Rajveer and Sonu (Nav Srijan).
