Gaiety and fervor marked the 69th Independence Day celebration at Seth M. R. Jaipuria School Gomti Nagar. The two celebrations encompassing merit activities in the field of art & creative writing on the theme -India of My Dreams was the hall mark.
The unfurling of the flag by the Principal, Mrs Promini Chopra and Vice Principal, Dr. Anupam Vidyarthi was followed by the traditional march past by the students representing the four houses.
In the address, the principal urged the students to work with dedication and patriotism for the progress of the country.
Various items like a Quiz, Dance and a skit were presented by the students. The students of Nav Srijan, a parallel school, enthusiastically participated in this enthralling school event.
The Aeromodelling show, Self-Defence Demonstration and Inter-House Kite Flying Competition were the other high lights. The function was attended by a large number of guests and parents. The function infused the students with patriotic fervor and pride and glory in their nation.
