The winter season is here…it’s time to picnic..go out and enjoy the bright sunshine with classmates. It is also a time to bond and mingle with the Navsrijan counterparts.
Field trips are a perfect way of maximising students’ learning experiences. Keeping this in mind, class picnics were planned for the Junior School children. The Pre-primary children visited the Zoological gardens on 25th & 26th Nov.’14.Zoo is home to lots of animals and the students were excited to meet them. They spent few hours admiring various animals. It was a perfect opportunity to explore their different habits and habitats. The teachers shared a few facts about different animals, such as Emu is a flightless bird and Giraffe is the tallest among all.The trip was fun ,yet an educational experience; not only this ,they learnt a few new names of birds like Macau and Ostrich. Our little ones enjoyed being with their friends and sharing their views about various animals they saw. Seeing the white Tigers and the big Gorillas was amazing.Later they all assembled to board the train which was the best part of the Zoo trip. The ride was enjoyable , where they got to see some more animals such as the spotted deer and Crocodiles. What a fun filled day it was !!
Classes 1 & 2 went to Lohia Park on 20th November, class 3 had a memorable day at the Zoo on 21st Nov. and class 4 had an informative and refreshing day when they visited the Dilkusha Gardens & Ganga Aquarium on 22nd November. Playing badminton, ludo, chess, antakshri and skipping ropes ,sharing homemade delicacies with teachers and friends was a welcome break from the monotony of the school.
Picnics are always fun…
