Storytelling Competition 2024 – Junior School

The inter-house storytelling competition on the theme of “Harmony with Nature” was held with great enthusiasm among the Grade 4 and Grade 2 students of Seth M.R. Jaipuria School on July 2, 2024. The purpose of the competition was to encourage creativity, imagination, and awareness about our environment and the importance of living in harmony with nature.

The students were tasked with preparing and presenting original stories that reflected the theme of harmony with nature. Each participant took turns to share their stories, showcasing a variety of imaginative narratives that highlighted different aspects of nature and its preservation. The stories ranged from magical adventures in enchanted forests to heartwarming tales of friendship between humans and animals. The participants demonstrated their storytelling skills with confidence and creativity, captivating the audience with vivid descriptions and moral lessons about respecting and cherishing our natural world.

The judges evaluated the participants based on several criteria:

1. Adherence to the theme of “Harmony with Nature”

2. Originality and creativity of the story

3. Story structure and coherence

4. Delivery and presentation skills, including voice modulation and gestures

5. Overall impact and message conveyed

The storytelling competition on “Harmony with Nature” was a resounding success, providing students with a platform to express their creativity and raise awareness about environmental conservation.
