Celebrating Sanskrit Day at Seth M R Jaipuria School, Gomtinagar, Lucknow

On September 1, 2023, our school was ablaze with the brilliance of Sanskrit as we celebrated Sanskrit Day with great zeal and pride! This event was a tribute to the timeless significance of Sanskrit in our education and daily lives.

Organized by our dedicated Sanskrit department, the day was a showcase of the vital role Sanskrit plays in our curriculum, from playgroup to class eight. Our students left everyone spellbound with their impressive accomplishments throughout the year.

The celebration featured a diverse array of activities, including classroom presentations, theatrical performances, melodious songs, engaging conversations, Gita chanting, mantroccharana, and more. Our talented teachers even serenaded us with a beautiful Sanskrit song, adding to the festive atmosphere.

We were honored to have esteemed guests, Prof. Bharat Bhushan Tripathi, Prof. Dhanindra Jha from the National Sanskrit University Lucknow campus, and Prof. Sampadananda Mishra from Rishihood University Sonipat, who shared their invaluable insights on the relevance of Sanskrit, especially in the context of the National Education Policy (NEP).

Our Principal, Mrs. Promini Chopra, delivered a warm welcome address, underscoring the importance of Sanskrit in our school’s curriculum. The rest of the program was expertly anchored and presented by our students, showcasing their fluency in this ancient language.
